First Look at the Sovereign Asian Art Prize 2016 Finalists

Joan Ross and Isabel and Alfredo Aquilizan have been announced as finalists for the Sovereign Asian Art Prize 2016.
Heralded as one of the most established prizes for contemporary arts in the region, The Sovereign Art Foundation has shortlisted 30 finalists from over 200 applicants across 16 territories in Asia. The finalists were chosen by a panel of judges that includes David Elliot, Chinese artist Song Dong, independent Indonesian curator Asmudjo Irianto and Taiwanese artist Michael Lin.
The works will be exhibited at Christie’s Hong Kong from May 9 to 12, and at The Rotunda, Hong Kong from May 21 to 31, and the public is invited to vote online or in person for their favourite piece.
